Tibor de Camargo is a highly skilled Computer Vision Engineer with experience in image segmentation, machine learning, and neural networks. Currently working as a Working Student at Siemens Mobility, he is a member of the R&D Department for Computer Vision and Graphics Applications where he is involved in developing innovative solutions for complex problems. Before joining Siemens, Tibor worked as a Research Assistant at leibniz-institut für agrartechnik und bioökonomie e.v. (atb) where he performed end-to-end image segmentation to create weed maps from crop field imagery. He also coupled an embedded system to a UAV, enabling high FPS for online inference. Prior to that, he worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at escola politécnica da usp where he explored interpretability concepts in a variety of models, ranging from basic linear regression to neural networks. Tibor has a Master of Science in Data Science from Universität Potsdam, which he is expected to complete in 2022. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Sciences from Universidade de São Paulo, which he completed in 2019.
